Firefox has been closing at random times. I do not see any crash logs in Firefox or event logs in Windows as to why this is happening. I can immediately re-open and it picks back up right where I left off. I am on Windows 10 enterprise 2h22, running Firefox 118.0.1 64-bit (this has happened in previous versions as well). I do have some add-ons, Tabliss, Cookie Quick Manager, Dark Reader, Sidebery, Lastpass, and Firefox Multi-Account Containers. I have checked each of these and uninstalled all of them but still happens. I have also uninstalled and re-installed and I am stumped. (I also have this same set up running on another computer but it has never done this to me)

Any ideas on what else I can try? Or other ways to investigate what is happening?

Chosen solution

It has been 3 days and I have not had the issue anymore. It was my paging file size... I increased it from the default, which was 1024 MB to 16 GB. My computer has 64 GB of RAM and Firefox uses anywhere from 4GB to 10GB+ (I use many tabs daily). I had forgotten I had increased this on my other systems as well.

Does it still happen in Troubleshoot Mode?

It happens so randomly I have not tried this yet. Sometimes I will have a day where it doesn't happen at all and then I will have a day where it happens 5 or more times. I will try this next.

It still happened in troubleshoot mode. I have done a Firefox Refresh, Uninstall, and uninstall using RevoUninstaller, removed all application traces, and started from scratch. It has been a day so far and so far I am good. I will update this post if it resolved my issue (which would lead me to believe it was possibly a bad reg key)

Edit: It happened this morning. I am at a loss of what could be possibly causing this.

I am trying to troubleshoot Windows for the issue now. If I find something I will post it here in case anyone else ever has this issue.

You might want to run MemTest86+ to check that your RAM is good.
