Hi George

Are you based in the Glasgow or the Edinburgh area?

Did you access your Firefox Account using Chrome at that time?

I am not in either location as I dont allow my pc to learn my true location. The browser I used is not Chrome, it was Edge. My account is protected by 2FA giving me access.

I strongly recommend that you review the connected devices in https://accounts.firefox.com/signin, removing any that you do not recognise. You should also consider changing your Firefox Account password. This support article should help:

I have no intention of changeing anything everytime I log in as I know my account is very safe. I suggest looking at your own modus operandi as to me it's over sensitive.

Thank you for your feedback.

Hi Paul, occassionally, I get a warning by email of when I try to log in and need to give confirmation. Mozilla is the only one that tells me what i've done yet still lets me gain access after that has already been given.

Hi,

I think it is set that way so that you can get to where you are going swiftly but still have piece of mind that if it was not you, you were being alerted to your Firefox Account having been compromised.

If you want to leave feedback for our developers about this, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Share ideas and feedback…. Alternatively, you can use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
