Calendar disappeared
A week or two ago I went to enter something in my calendar and it was gone. It usually sits there in a tab all of its own, but the tab is gone, too.
I looked for online help and found an article (here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/calendar-updates-issues-thunderbird) giving steps to recover it. It starts off with me opening the Config Editor, but does not give instructions on how to do so. I searched for that and found another article (here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/config-editor) with instructions on how to open the config editor. But the very first step is not doable. It says "To access the Config Editor, go to [3 bar menu] and select Settings. " But when I click the three bar menu there is no Settings. And so I quit in frustration.
Can anyone help or advise me on how to recover my calendar? I guess it's Lightning. I know it used to be Lightning long ago, then it was incorporated directly into the basic Thunderbird release. Lightning does not exist in my list of extensions at all. Was it there before? Sorry, but I've been using Thunderbird for so long that I can't remember or keep up on all of the changes that have occurred.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

Try updating to 102.2.0 which is the current version. After the update let me know if you can see the Spaces Toolbar which I mention in a previous reply.
If that doesn't help, try running Thunderbird in troubleshoot mode and let me know if the calendar is visible then.

Are you sure the Calendar is completely gone or did you just simply close the tab which is usually always open?
In any case, try to open the calendar using the Spaces Toolbar which is situated in the upper left corner of the Thunderbird screen, it's the third button from above. See the attached image as well. As an alternative you can press Alt+3 on your keyboard as well.
I have never seen that "Spaces" toolbar. When I View|Toolbars it is not listed. Alt+3 does nothing. I have already tried View|Calendar and it is grayed out. Also, the Calendar disappeared after an update.

View | Calendar is greyed out when the calendar is not open. What version of Thunderbird are you running?
Currently using 91.12.0 (32-bit)
Hey, why is it 32 bit? Should I change that? And if I do, will it remember my accounts and setups or will I be starting over?
Also, I just noticed that it is asking if I'd like to update to 91.13.0. I will probably do that, but will it fix this problem? Seems unlikely, but I'll let you all know if it does.
As predicted, the update did not fix the calendar disappearance.

Yup, updating to 102.2.0 brought the calendar back using the little icon you showed me in the first posting. Thank you.
I don't know why it didn't update itself. It's always done that before. Maybe this one was so major that they wanted users to realize it was happening.
