Firefox updated and now all my book marks are gone. I looked at your help info and it is a rabbit hole. I tried to restore and they are not there. I need them desperately!!!

Did you try restoring using the method here - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/restore-bookmarks-from-backup-or-move-them#w_restoring-from-backups

Were there any backups? Was/is there a folder on your desktop named "Old Firefox Data"?

My profile reset again today and I loss the bookmarks I reset the past 2 days. I went and grabbed an old profile but when I imported it was empty. I have probably around 40-50 books marks. 20 being important. We have pushed out InTune and it pushed out the update that Firefox has. Last week it failed and this week it appears to not have and updated. That is when I loss the book marks and it appears that old "profile". However, I never have logged in. I have been using Firefox for years and I do not back my book marks up. It has never been an issue to do such a thing in my 30 years of using them.

I'm not sure if this is relevant but, the CCleaner version 6 came out with an additional cleaning of Firefox Bookmark Backups. It is Enabled by default. I tried it with one of my Profiles and it did indeed clean out the backups. It did not affect the current set but, I didn't run the Profile long enough to see if it eventually did. - Just a thought
