Shutterfly
Anyone else unable to access your photos and share sites on Shutterfly through Firefox?
Chosen solution
Hi Marty, I'm also on macOS, so when I saw this thread, I decided to create a shutterfly account and upload a test image. Logging in and accessing my test image works fine here. If you start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode, does the problem still occur? To start in Troubleshoot Mode, go to Help > Troubleshoot Mode.
If the problem does not occur in Troubleshoot Mode, then you can disable your extensions one-by-one until you find out which one is causing the problem. For more info, visit Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.

I can get to the website, but not to my photos or share sites. It tries to load for several minutes, then throws me into a sign-in loop.

Anyway, Shutterfly works fine in Safari, but I don't like Safari.
Any relevant-looking messages in the Web Console ?
If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.
- make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version

Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content.
- click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection
You can check the Web Console for relevant-looking messages about blocked content.

You can try these steps in case of issues with webpages:
You can reload webpage(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Settings).
"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"
"Clear the Cache":
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> [X] Cached Web Content -> Clear

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window
I sincerely appreciate your efforts to help, but I'm a 74-year-old retiree and your suggestions are way above my tech level. I should tell you that I can get as far as the My Account page at the Shutterfly site, but then cannot open My Photos or Share Sites. I should tell you that I am running the latest version of Firefox and the latest Mac OS. I should tell you that I tried clearing my history and deleting cookies, an action I very much regret. Not only did it not affect the Shutterfly issue, but it also caused the loss of access to several other sites.
Because Shutterfly functions on Safari, I can only assume that the problem is neither with Shutterfly nor with my laptop. It must be a Firefox issue. It occurred sometime after the most recent update.
I can't be the only Shutterfly/Firefox customer having this issue. I keep hoping that someone from Firefox will connect with someone from Shutterfly, or vice versa, and unravel the glitch.
Meanwhile, I'm using Safari as my dedicated Shutterfly browser. I don't like it.

Chris, you are my hero! The problem turned out to be a newish extension, Privacy Essentials in DuckDuckGo. I disabled it, and Shutterfly was healed. Thank you so much!! ~Marty W
