pop ups
No matter what settings I try, popups keep on coming. Im using ver 100.0.2 and none of the web "help" sites match the "hamburger" choice drop-down that I have.

Hello,
When are you getting pop-ups? Is when the browser first opens or when you go to a certain website? Also, check out the pop-up settings. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/pop-blocker-settings-exceptions-troubleshooting#firefox:linux:fx100
Modified
the pop-ups occur when I am browsing web sites brought up via a google search. I get one two or three pop-ups in/on one screen view. Clicking the hard to find X's gets rid of one, but of course the next is still on screen.
If it matters, am using a Win7 Ultimate op sys. I do a CCleaner run every 1 or 2 days, and it finds many "trackers." Of course I delete them.
I cannot say if I do or don't get the pop-ups with Chrome. I dont use it often.
Can you attach a screenshot?

- use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
image attached, I have 3, dont know how to do multiples.
not sure what is happening. "post reply" does not seem to complete.
You can click the browse button another time to add more images. If you have a problem with attaching images then best is to add only one image to a reply. That way you can reload the page and give it another try if the upload stalls. You can also consider to upload the screenshots to an image hosting website and post the links instead.
1) the link to maestro stuff focuses largely on mac's. in any case I cant find maestro stuff on my PC. Hitman pro and CCleaner can't either. 2) I just noticed that most (maybe all?) pop-ups come from google ads. 3) new screen shot showing small icon in address bar which says "site is allowed to use/push/do" pop-ups. I have not made any such change/allowance. 4) just now, what does "502 bad gateway mean??"
Sometimes you get a 502 bad gateway error when you try to attach an screenshot on this forum. Why this happens is not known yet, but the only way I know to recover is to reload the page causing you to lose what you have typed (try to use copy/paste to save what you typed so far to another document).
