"Other Bookmarks" Folder is pinned on the bookmark toolbar, any way to remove it?

more options

I casually clicked on Firefox today and i was greeted with a new folder in my bookmarks toolbar called "Other Bookmarks" (The folder in the picture that is named in my native language). I would like to find a way to remove this folder since it takes so much space in my toolbar for no reason and its useless for me.

There's no obvious way to take it off the toolbar, delete or even rename it (i know you're not supposed to delete it since this is a Firefox system folder but its annoying pinned there). I don't know if this is caused from a recent update but its really annoying...

Any help would be appreciated, and thanks in advance.

Chosen solution

Try to set browser.toolbars.bookmarks.2h2020 = false on the about:config page.

Note that Firefox 85 will come with a pref to control whether to display this folder on the Bookmarks Toolbar, in Firefox 86 you can right-click empty space on the Bookmarks Toolbar.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can click the button to "Accept the Risk and Continue".

I'm having the same issue as Shiro Neko with this latest Firefox update, and would also want to not display the "Other Bookmarks" on my "Bookmarks Toolbar".

And even more annoying is how the option of being able to toggle on or off the "Bookmarks Toolbar" from the "View" menu has become more convoluted (unreasonably long).

Adjusting the "browser.toolbars.bookmarks.2h2020 = false" on the about:config page solved both these issues, or should I say "unwanted features"?

At any rate, thanks "cor-el" for providing this solution in an extremely easy way to follow it. You made my day.

P.S. - By the way, I clicked on the thumbs down option my mistake, it should have been thumbs up, but there was no way to cancel such action and revert it to it being helpful.
