i have set up a master password, which get prompted when I start Firefox, but when I type in the password Firefox adds 4 characters before my typed characters. These 4 characters do not show up in the password box. If you enter a blank box - four dots appear. So I spend ages trying to get my password logged correctly. By this time Firefox brings up a no connection error message! I have tried changing the password but this has no effect. I seem to recall Firefox doing this a while back but it was sorted by next update. Any advise would be gratefully recieved as it driving me nuts now!
