Are you sure it is a correctly formatted pdf file itself? Can you open and see it first?

Hi Karlbx, can you open the PDF externally in Foxit Reader or another PDF viewer? Sometimes Firefox's built-in viewer has issues with particular PDFs.

Or perhaps it is a problem accessing the attachment on Google Drive or wherever Google is storing it?

I can open the pdf fine in gmail, but the tab that opens when I hit the print icon is blank. I have added Foxit Reader, but there's no change.

The System Details list shows the "Open in Foxit™ Reader" extension.

Did you check that this extension isn't causing this issue?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
