Cannot get out of striped screen!

HI there! I don't know what I clicked on but I've got the of folders on the left - that's OK - but the rest of the screen is a tasteful pink and white diagonal stripe and I cannot see how to get out of that and back to the list of messages and the preview pane. Please help! Thanks in advance.

Chosen solution

I think you have activated one or more of the selectors in the QuickFilter Bar. Stripes, and other colouring systems are intended to alert you to the fact that the currently chosen selectors didn't find any matching messages.
