can not delete emails into my trash box and can not remember my log in details

i can not delete emails from my inbox to the trash file . it comes up trash file full but it is empty . also tried to login but can not remember my details to do so .

There is not enough information in your post for anyone to be able to help.

Please post specific information about the account settings and things such as whether this is a new account or something which used to work but has stopped working.

Have you compacted your folders after deleting messages? If not you need to. Read about Compacting here. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/compacting-folders?cache=no

Tried to log in to what? Your email account? If it is your email account you need to contact your email provider for help.
