I cannot find a way to place add ons to top where they are useable?
I have several add ons which are unusable because I can not find a way to place them on line with menu, bookmarks, etc. The only ones I'm able to place there are the firefox created ones.

Type about:customizing<Enter> in the address bar. In the new window, look for the icon. When you find it, hold down the left button on it, and move it to where you want it to be. You can move any of the icons you want from here, but some icons are locked in place.

Sorry, don't understand what you are talking about. Steps have to be plainer for me. The info is the same available I've had. I still have no way of placing icons of add ons to page. The only ones I can do are the standard Firefox ones.
Hi, open the 3-bar menu and click on Customize at the bottom right. Now look for the add-on buttons, and left click on one of them but keep holding down the mouse button. Now start moving the mouse and you should be able to drag the button to a toolbar. Repeat that with any other buttons, then click on Exit Customize at the bottom right to save. Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.
If you are unable to drag the buttons, first restart Firefox. If that doesn't help, try clicking on Restore Defaults (can be seen in linked article) while in Customize mode, then try again.
What add-ons are you having trouble with?
Nobody seems to really understand what I'm talking about. I guess I'm not clear enough. I enable extensions and a few ADD icons, but most do NOT. So most extensions are unusable because I have no way of getting to them. I am not talking about the icons of Firefox!
We do understand. You can't find the icons for some add-ons. That is why,

Note that some add-ons don't have icons to place anywhere.
