currently running 153.0.1, in Windows 10 I started having trouble with web pages not working (I have auto-tab discard, so after a while the pages go dormant and when I go pack in they have to refresh) only they wouldn't refresh

I'd hit refresh and it would stay blank but if I opened it in a new tab it opened fine (noted this first in tumblr and youtube - probably since previous to last update) also opening links from an 'affected' (youtube video page that stops working) will also have those new tabs blank and eternally trying to load

then yesterday the problems ramped up; other pages start not working, not when I refresh, not when I open a new page. youtube videos will just stop loading, yahoo's inbox displays "no internet connection" warning (even when I can scroll tumblr, but the links still break) I can access those same pages and others normally in other browsers

also if I just keep working in the still half broken pages it gets to a point firefox simply stops allowing me to do anything on new tabs, it gets slower and slower, taking up to a minute to open one page (internet fine in other browsers). eternally frozen in loading pages do not allow me to access settings or react to pressing Alt, or pressing "stop loading"

I tried deactivating all extensions, I tried (and am currently writing this in troubleshoot mode) it still happens

if I restart firefox it works for a bit, and then starts breaking, timing seems rather random, (once it happened with one youtube video and one mail tab open, other time's i've opened several youtube videos a couple tumblr pages and one mail tabs (easiest to notice the "no internet connection in the mail tab)

Lately, after last firefox update, whenever I start Firefox, it loads normally but when I click to open a website it freezes with a not responding message. I have waited for 10 minutes before and never responds. Even opening in troubleshooting mode it won't respond.

Everyday Shopify asks me to verify my account but when I try to do so using my passkey it fails with the following error message: “We’ve encountered an error accessing your passkey. Try again or use a different method.”

When I hit the “Verify” button I can see a POST request being made to https://accounts.shopify.com/user-verification/passkey?native_app=false&os_name=other&token=XXXXXXXXXX and it gets a 200 response with the following JSON:

The passkey popup from Bitwarden never opens.

I then use 2FA with my authenticator app and am able to login.

I’m using Firefox 153.0.1 and the Bitwarden extension 2026.7.0.

This used to work fine for me some time ago and I can still use passkeys using Chrome + Bitwarden on the same computer.

I've contacted Bitwarden's support and they tell me the problem resides either with Firefox or with Shopify. I've also posted this issue in Shopify's community forums and people tell me it looks like it's Firefox who's cancelling Shopify's POST request given the "user_submission_canceled_passkey" error code.

Turn off tracking, even put x.com as an exception and it still won't let me log into X. Other browsers will but not firefox. I have noticed login problems on other sites too.. even with it " off" ie: IT DOES NOT TURN OFF. Windows 10 system

When I try to manually delete all my browsing history from the browsing history icon, firefox locks up and nothing happens until I click my mouse button and I get the message box stating that Firefox is not responding and it gives me two choices, close the program or wait for firefox to respond-

Hi, I try to use Firefox for my job and faced with the problem that I can't open state owned website due to sertificate signature error. I ready to take a risk but I can't find the button "Proceed.. (Risky)". This button simply not showing. In th same time in mobile version I saw this button, could take permssions myself and open the website. I tryed to add root and sub sertificates of the Goverment, tryed to add the site address to exclusions -- all these steps don't work. I can't open the site and can't find button "Proceed.. (Risky)". Moreover, in the same time, I can open this website without any questions and problems with Safari and Chrome.

I use the last Firefox version (153.0) from Firefox official website.

How can I resolve this problem in Firefox? Please help me

EVERY SINGLE TIME I try to access the 1Password extension it requires me to enter the Master Password for my 1Password extension. It never did before, if I entered it once I could use finger print access for a few day before it asks for my Master Password again. Do I have to remove the extension?

On some forums - not this one - I am unable to complete the relevant text box to compose a reply. EG the Devon forum: https://discourse.devontechnologies.com/t/sync-between-mac-and-ipad-works-and-iphone-not-working/87390/7 No text appears and the text box is completely inoperative. The problem is not confined to that site, but I have experienced similar on other Forums.

I use Ublock Origin which I thought might be causing a problem but disabling it has no effect, neither does disabling Little Snitch. As a result I've concluded this is probably caused by something in my settings but I don't know which or where to look.

Any suggestions appreciated.

How can improve my firefox’s password list's security, because for example if someone gains unauthorised access to my device PC or phone they will be able to see all the passwords, how can I add an extra lay of security? Thanks

After upgrade to FF 153, Shortcut key for bookmark sidebar (cmd-b) intermittedly stopped working. Req. quitting firefox to fix.

- However I think it may be to do with a recent bookmark entry stored in the bookmarks bar?? The website is a national UK hardware store and it seems to open OK. I cannot be sure but I think the problem started after I added this bookmark. It is a real nuisance and I have had to switch to Edge. Please advise how I might fix the problem.

My firefox profile keeps showing as repeatedly being deleted then saved in one drive - see screenshot. It's using a lot of memory anyway - nearly 3GB currently with 10 tabs, i've tried most fixes on https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-uses-too-much-memory-or-cpu-resources

I don't think it used to do this repeated profile deleting thing - any suggestions?

Version 153 in general seems to be more buggy than previous.

• The most affected bug now is opening links in new tabs will endlessly show the loading animation in the favicon tab area, and the page will be blank failing to load the content.

• No choice but to restart Firefox in order for it to function again.

• Also, every time relaunching Firefox gives the "Firefox is already running" message pop up.

• This started happening after updating to version 153.

After being nagged to update to the latest version of Firefox, i did so thinking all the windows and tabs would be restored. I have been thru multiple updates with with no problems in the past. I have been through most of the self help but nothing works. The restore last session is greyed out.

I do not speak geek.

Two days ago my Firefox icon in the dock looked very different there was an added something. I have not been able to restore my bookmarks or my sidebar and I'm now wondering if you're update did this. I want my bookmarks back in my bookmark side bar please tell me how to get it. Control B does not do it. I am legally blind and this is especially difficult for me. I don't want to have to sign in with passwords and numbers and letters something you did on your end wreck this website for me Carol Cummins
