Since the last update I can no longer see download progress or click to see my downloads, why?

I now have to menu navigate to get to the setting I used to us and want,

My problem may not be from the same cause, but I'm experiencing the same issue. Ever since my MacBook M3 Max updated to Tahoe, Firefox has been draining my battery incredibly fast. Before Tahoe, I could count on 8-9 hours of constant work with mixed use of higher processing work. Now, I'm lucky to get 4 hours of light browsing. Before I totally blame Apple, has anyone else experienced a recent shift?

I want a toolbar with boxes surrounding each new tab. I need to find the right extension to do this. A different color for each box would be good too. When I add new ones they all run togethrr and only show in a box when highlighted. I used to have boxes separating them all... I play a game where I have about thirty open and boxes make them easier to see...

I used to be able to highlight any non-English text, right click it, and choose "Translate Selection to English" to get a popup window with a translation. It would auto-detect the language I had highlighted and then give me the English translation.

As of a few days ago it only defaults to translating from English to Japanese. It no longer auto detects the language I've highlighted, and it no longer defaults to an English translation. I have to manually change the languages in the drop downs in the popup window each time.

Every help article I've found on google says I need to change language options in the settings, but they're all set to English. There's no mention of Japanese anywhere, yet Firefox insists that I want Japanese translations. My PC is also set to English.

Apparently sometimes it can still auto-detect the language since I just tried to make a screenshot and it was able to detect French -> Japanese, although many other times it thinks the Russian (or whatever) text I've highlighted is English.

Just letting you know after trying for a week to find a solution to this problem, I am leaving Firefox after 20+ years. I can not work from this platform any longer.

In "manage profiles" I see where to delete the extra profile that was created and I don't want. Thanks to Cetaseus1. my question is does deleting a profile delete all the bookmarks? there is an info box that warns that bookmarks will be deleted including my 30,000+ bookmarks that were rolled over to this unwanted profile that just appeared. My intent is to have one remaining profile and all my bookmarks. I am hesitant to delete a profile and loose all those bookmarks. I won't delete until Mozilla assures me that I won't lose the bookmarks in the other profile. Thanks.

How do I stop pup ups with several different warnings. At the top of ALL popups say Mozilla Firefox . I clicked DISMISS, then another one will pop up. 1.) Red shield with the word Warning! Click here to secure device! anti virus notification. 2.) Red and black shield say Virus found. 3.) Blue Windows symbol with a the yellow triangle and !, Click here to remove it 4.) red setting wheel, Trojan virus detected, Scan and delete your system.
