Restarted W10 pc. Firefox is set to open on restart open previous tabs. Firefox did not open. Cannot open Firefox application manually. Running Ironscales and Sentinel One on PC. Running Privacy Badger on Firefox. Firefox was slow opening pages yesterday. I thought it was my INET connection.

I can not login to my Vanguard.com account Called Vanguard and they said they were having major problems with people using Fire Fox as their server. I can use Safari and everything works fine. Please advise.....

I use tab groups actively and would save much of my work in my ever-growing list of tab groups. I saw today that many of them had disappeared. I wasn't signed into Firefox and nor do I have any different profiles made. I see two tab groups that I made yesterday but none from before that. How could this happen? How do I recover so much of the work I had saved up?

I do not understand why I open up a new firefox browser that my bookmarks are gone, and I have to refresh to get them back. It seems that I have more then one profile and when I go to picking one for my default, it works. Not sure why this keeps happening. I only want one profile and for it to have all of my bookmarks. What do I do to stop this form happening every time I open up a new browser in firefox.??

I have a Brother DCP-L2550DW printer that is connected via a network cable. Any other browser, i.e. Edge or Chrome, seem to be able to connect and print just fine. Firefox fails to print and there is no information about why. I have checked Event Viewer, turned off all the extensions, tried the about:config to reset printer options. Every single suggestion I've found so far fails to fix it. I have a great deal invested in using Firefox (bookmarks, etc.) so I'd like to keep it as my default browser, but not being able to print is SO annoying. Any suggestions?

G morning. Bookmarks lost and impossible to restore or even to create new one. Tried your suggestions to fix it but impossible. I restarted program and PC a few times, no change.

I downloaded a new version of Firefox but same problem and same error message about the bookmarks not available (and impossible to create / add new one). Import old bookmarks impossible, folder not available on desktop. 

Do I have to take a new browser after 20 years of happiness with Firefox ? Thank you

Is there a way to restore how bookmarks used to work? It looks like the browser bookmarks every page I visit, but it should only bookmark pages when I request it. Firefox will no longer be my default browser because you have made it harder to do my work. Send me an email when you've fixed this terrible "feature".

I want to confirm that Mozilla Firefox is my default browser. I want it to appear when I start up my computer and have it appear on my screen when I'm at rest. But first, I need to set the page up again.

(When I hit "browse" below, Firefox does not appear. My documents file opens up, wanting to save something to a file or folder.)

I am unable to find an answer (hours on the Internet) to this specific problem that has appeared out of nowhere:

Under File in the Menu Bar the "Email Link..." does not work anymore. If I want to send a thing I'm looking at to my Thunderbird email (and which I use Hover), most often is a You Tube video. But I do this for other things I start reading, but I don't have time for. This has worked for a very long time. It was always so easy. Now when I click on Email Link all I get is a blue circle-I think it rotates sometimes. It disappears in a second or less. I get nothing.

I do have Windows 11 and up-to-date Firefox. I am fairly sure it continued to work after I got a new computer Nov. 4th with W11 on it. I believe I lost this function within the last 6-8 weeks. Maybe with the new computer, but I don't think so. I'd appreciate it if someone might have a fix or idea about this. I admit my intelligence is not up to the task!

My Firefox data (profiles, bookmarks, browsing history, etc) suddenly disappeared. I had a session going with multiple tabs open, and only noticed because Outlook kept opening links in a brand new session that was not linked to the one I already had open. When I closed out of firefox, my old session and all my data was gone. I followed all the recovery steps and am stumped. Where did my data go and is it possible to restore it?

I want to delete some accounts that I never use. I can edit the email address and I can delete the password, but how do I expunge the site from my mozilla records?

Love Firefox, and like Avast software. Wanted to try Avast AntiTrack Premium but Avast wants me to make it an add on extension to my browser. Mozilla told me this- just want to know if it's safe. In the updated sidebar, the browsing history and "Tabs from other devices" entries no longer support opening links in a new tab by simply clicking the middle mouse button (which should function like Ctrl + left-click). This was possible in the previous version of the browsing history. However, bookmarks in the new sidebar still allow opening links in a new tab using the middle mouse button. Additionally, there doesn’t seem to be a shortcut key for opening links in a split tab (side-by-side view). Currently, I have to drag and drop, which feels cumbersome. I suggest adding this feature to the right-click context menu, introducing a keyboard shortcut (e.g., Ctrl + left-click, or another modifier key), or an option to set allowing the middle mouse button to open links in a split tab. Alternatively, a double-right-click could also work. If this feedback cannot be directly forwarded to the developers, where should I post or submit these suggestions?

Just bought my new Acer Lap Top Downloaded Firefox on it. Trying to bookmark some of my sites. It first let me bookmark them. Now they have all disappeared and it will no longer let me bookmark anything. Can anyone please help me?
