Khronos officially specifies number of extensions for WebGL http://www.khronos.org/registry/webgl/extensions/

Google Chrome 10 supports some of them including OES_standard_derivatives which is of special interest to me.

I was there before and couldn't find anything about road map or planned webgl features. The same at bugzilla.
