Teesh

Lately I have noticed that when I delete an email it Is not going into my trash folder. I am using version 159.0 (64-bit). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated also I am using an IMAP server

- Who is your email provider?

- Are the messages visible in the webmail Deleted/Trash folder?

See <Account Settings | Server Settings | Server Settings | "When I delete a message"> and make sure the setting is appropriate;

Thank you SO much I had the wrong setting for some reason. Put it down to age and stupidity🙄

I tend to put it down to not being able to see the trees for the forest. Thunderbird has a ton of settings and they're not very well organized, IMO. It's easy to get lost in there!

I tend to agree with you. Sometimes it can be so hard when examples don't fit what I see in my edition
