Hello there Mvpstl

Your issue has been identified as a server communication, filtering, or synchronisation error within your Thunderbird software.

Hello there

You can configure this setting in the following places. Follow the steps below in this order to address the issue:

1.Check the message filters.

2.Check the junk email settings:

Right-click your email account in the left-hand column and choose Settings.

Under the account name, click Junk.

On the right-hand side, under the heading "Destination and Retention," check where junk messages are being moved. Is this accidentally set to the Trash folder instead of the Junk folder?

If the folder is correct, but all email is still being treated as spam, temporarily uncheck the option "Enable adaptive junk mail controls for this account" to test if the behavior stops.

3.Check for synchronisation conflicts with other devices (POP and IMAP):

The POP issue: If another device connects via the POP protocol and is set to delete messages from the server after downloading, the server's inbox will be emptied.

The result in Thunderbird: Because Thunderbird works via IMAP, the program sees that the server inbox is empty and that the mail on the server has been moved to the trash.

Thunderbird synchronises this immediately and moves the mail to the local trash folder as well.

Solution: Check the mail settings on your devices and ensure they are either set to IMAP or that the option "Leave messages on the server" is enabled.

4.Check webmail for these errors. 5.Repair corrupted folder indexes .
