unable to setup hotmail account (accounthub)
Hi,
I am trying to setup Thunderbird for the first time on my mac (OS Sequoia 15.6.1). No problem with E-mail clients except the hotmail client. I am always stuck at this error message that authentication failed after I type in my password. I added manually an outgoing server for microsoft as described in some older post but I am unable to find to setup IMAP manually in the Thunderbird account settings. I believe I will have only the option to do so after I pass the authentication error. I also added some exception as recommended in some older forum post but it also didn't help.
Any suggestion what could solve the problem?

The problem might be the setup wizard; it's new and experimental. Try this: go to settings>general and untick the box for the setup wizard and then attempt the setup again. I included a screenshot of where the setup option is.

You did not show your incoming settings. These usually work:
- incoming: outlook.office365.com, port 993, SSL/TLS, Oauth2 (assuming IMAP) - outgoing: smtp.office365.com, port 587, STARTTLS, Oauth2
Well, as I mentioned in my original post, I cannot see the possibility of setting my incoming (IMAP) manually. I believe it's only possible once I pass the setup stage of Thunderbird logging in with my password.
Or, do you know a way to this manually?
