Running Thunderbird 128.8.1esr on my Kubuntu 24.04 desktop. The server is at Fastmail. Beginning a few months ago, the Trash folder on the desktop no longer shows any messages. I can still see the messages in Trash by logging into Fastmail. Also, if I search the Trash folder from my desktop, I see the messages yielded by the search. I did try "repair folder", and rebuilt the msf file, with no result. So I have been waiting to see whether the problem will fix itself. As it hasn't I figured I would seek help here. Any suggestions for how to fix this?

No, T'Bird (now running 128.13.0esr ) still won't show what's in the trash, I can only see it at fastmail. Apparently no one else has this problem, so I just live with it.
