You Tube Videos are no longer showing, but still working on Safari and Chrome
All of a sudden my YouTube videos cannot be seen and thus the controls aren't there either to click on to make a video play. I can see below the pictures of video choices, but in the space that the video normally is displayed it's blank - a white space. I have no idea what happened. It works fine on Safari. I have a MacBook Air. Thank you.

Before this sudden what did you change, adjust, install, or modify? Did you add an extension? What other software have you installed or updated?
Which adblocking are you using?
Do you have "security" software installed?
Are you possibly using Resist Fingerprinting?
You can check this pref on the about:config page to see if Resist Fingerprinting is enabled and if this pref is user set (bold) reset to false via the right-click context menu.
- privacy.resistFingerprinting = false
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
Resist Fingerprinting does not break youtube unless you also enable canvas protection. But the videos will still play though UX elements will be glitchy
?? Resist Fingerprinting ?? - what is that? One day my videos were showing ... like for months - years .. and the next day not. Not sure why.
