How to have open tabs presented as a list, rather than a bunch of thumbnails?

Hi,

I've just had to restore my Pixel 4 from a Google backup after a hardware fault. When I go to the screen to open a new blank tab, Firefox has reverted to displaying thumbnails for all the existing tabs. I like to keep quite a few tabs open, so I had changed a setting so that Firefox displayed a list of already open tabs, rather than showing them as a series of thumbnails. Unfortunately, as a result of having to re-install Firefox, I've lost that particular change.

Can someone remind me what I have to change to get back to the list display. I had it working just fine, but I cannot remember how I did it, and I can't even find the solution after a fair bit of Googling.  :-(

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike

I should be able to help you with this.

  1. From the Firefox for Android home screen, tap the three dot menu icon.
  2. Select Settings and then General
  3. Change the setting next to Compact Tabs so that it is off

I hope this helps.
