I don't understand multiple inboxes after new OS / update of Thunderbird ..

I finally was able to use Thunderbird on Manjaro, new OS switched to.

But, under 'Local Folders', although I have the various subdirectories where I store my incoming mail by filters and by hand, I also have what I suspect are useless "Inbox" "Drafts" "Sent" "Trash" and "Outbox" folders.

I am, officially, a dummy (disabled), and I find these extra folders alarming. I'll include a snapshot, and admit to all wrongdoing.

The folder you refer to under local folders are normal. They are a hangover from a time when everyone used POP mail accounts and can not be deleted.
