Trying to move years of mail and settings from Seamonkey Mail to Thunderbird, tried moz backup and it didn't load anything.
Downloaded Thunderbird a few days ago. I have used Seamonkey since the Netscape days of the 1990's. How do I move all the contents of Seamonkey content to thunderbird? I have seen many things on line but not sure who to trust.

you can integrate your complete account settings to another mail box. maybe you didn't try this.

Yes the files are still on the computer that I want to put Thunderbird on. The Seamonkey mail is still running fine. Would just like to get all the folders and files etc to migrate over to Thunderbird.
have you identified the mail profile in seamonkey?
Simply use the profile manager in Thunderbird to point it to the seamonkey profile. AFAIK that are exactly the same in format.
