ALL Bookmarks suddenly gone. Have tried EVERTHING to locate and restore them for the past 5 days
5 days ago, locked out of sign-on-password initial page. finally got back into initial screen, brought up Firefox as usual, but since then ALL Bookmarks are gone, and have tried everything everything everything to find & restore them. No luck

Are there still JSON backups available if you check that in the Bookmarks Manager (Library)?
- Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Restore
Do you have an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop, possibly as the result of using the Refresh feature?
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database (bookmarks, history) in the Firefox profile folder.

If the Places Maintenance extension can't repair the places.sqlite database then remove all places.sqlite file(s) in the Firefox profile folder to make Firefox rebuild the places.sqlite database from the most recent JSON backup in the bookmarkbackups folder.
You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
