These are always clearly marked, and you have control over whether they are shown. Privacy is fundamental to Mozilla’s mission. The revenue from these advertisements on Firefox New Tab supports Mozilla’s mission to build a healthier internet and help fund Firefox development. Because Mozilla is structured not for maximizing profit but for advancing its mission, this revenue is reinvested into projects that foster a healthier web and improve privacy, including how to deliver ads in a privacy-preserving way.
