How do i turn vpn off

Hello Paul, I'm reading this forum to learn more abbout FireFox. I am sorry to say that I don't understand "from the control in the toolbar." Maybe my cliffnotes version was missing a few pages. Could you explain further, please?

I cannot for the life of me figure out where "the control in the toolbar" is. Can you post a screen shot or tell me specifcally the oprions I need to traverse this tree, please. I searched settings and found a few things but nothing looks like the picture in that article you referred me to.

Well it's also possible that you don't have the VPN functionality offered to you at all. In such case there's nowhere to go for disabling it, as it's not even available to you yet.

(Just to reiterate: Unless you specifically enabled it and have the green thingy running in your toolbar, there's no need to look for ways how to disable it — because it's disabled then.)

Since I'm not logged in,I don't think that I would see anything vpn related. So sorry.

You might eventually see the panels to explain how to sign in/up etc. but you're right — without being logged in there's no way the functionality would be enabled for you, so that's positively disabled in your case.
