Time settings always going to wrong date

jbr replied

I guess i may have downloaded something not good. Because I keep having to redo the time on my laptop. Then I see under the plugins a warning that it wasn't supported. Like it's not to be trusted. I can't find it now. But I been having to go in and change my time zone every log in just about. Arghhhhh. Help Wizard!

Without correct time, most of present–day security won't work, as it's based on short–lived certificates that have a limited time span of trust, so once you suddenly appear XY hours/days/months off, all the validation is broken.

You need to sort out the time getting re–set on your Mac first. (Might be either battery issue if getting forgotten proper, or a corrupted setting situation if just timezones are mixed up; however that's out of scope here — try researching some Mac resources for further assistance.)
