It sounds like some malicious website has been set as your Firefox home page. If you change your Firefox home page, it sounds like that will likely fix the issue.
If not, try running in Firefox Safe Mode. If the page doesn't appear when running in this mode, it's likely that an extension installed on your Firefox browser is producing this page.
