I've explored this extensively. I have a number of locally hosted webservers, mostly wifi routers and the like. I am unable to access ANY of them via firefox on mac. Safari can access them, and firefox on windows can access them, but firefox on mac can't. Also: chrome on the same mac also fails the same way. Trying to add an ssl cert exception in firefox settings doesn't work, after keying the url and hitting the button it also can't access the cert to add the exception with. This is something that used to work with firefox on mac, but at some point mac changed and is blocking both firefox and chrome. Apparently safari was adjusted to match the change, and firefox/chrome simply need to catch up?

Using payment cards my saved card has the correct date when I look at saved cards. When I use the payment option and select the card offered it puts in an incorrect date (-6 years). I chage this manually and it asks to update the card details, to which I answer 'Yes'. When I go to use it again the same scenario plays out.
Any idea wy this would be, I've flushed the cache and memory but still the same.

In the last two days I have a recurring message that I am unable to delete despite rebooting my 2025 iMac! The mesage is: "SmartSignalSearch" was not opened because it contains malware. This action will not harm your Mac." When I press the Done button, nothing happens. There is a Trash button to dump this message. I did a search to find where this malware could be. Nothing! I am grateful that my Security & Privacy functions are working, but how can I dump this Malware Blocked notice off my screen? Thanks for any help that you can offer!

The page shown following the link does not help as it just assumes I have installed from a tarball - not the case.
Any idea whats going on?
I am using the plasma DE having installed kde-plasma-desktop if that's of any consequence.
Thanks for looking

Hello!
I would like to know if Firefox has any settings to disable the POP-UPs that inform that "the password is being entered via insecure means (http)" and/or alarms for self-signed certificates on local networks? I work accessing the configuration pages of equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, APs, etc...) and these messages are very annoying. They disrupt the workflow and are unpleasant.
Is there any extension that makes a list of security exceptions (for example, everything on the 192.168.0.0/16, 172.16.0.0/12, 10.0.0.0/8 network)? It would be interesting if Firefox itself had this exception option.
PS.: Translated by Google.

Win11 Firefox 138.04 It appears some of the shortcuts on the Newtab page are preloading somehow.
Where are these coming from? Sidebar is off. I have all preloading off, all suggestions of every sort off, any predictive anything off.
I am not experiencing this on my win10 machine.
How do I stop this?
Work computer, ThreatLocker is flagging files named tmp-9n7.xpi in local appdata directory. I'm not sure if they're legit. Is it legit? What is it used for?

Hello.
I use the Firefox Multi-Account Containers extension to separate my browsing data. I have one container for my personal account (Google, YouTube, etc.), another for Amazon, another for work, and another for web searches.
Can I delete the cookies from the containers independently?
Let me explain. I'd like to keep the cookies from my personal container (to keep sessions open), but I'd like to delete the cookies from the "searches" container.
Best regards.
Can't sign into certain accounts because Mozilla is requiring me to request a certificate, But when I hit the button nothing happens

My browser (on a second device) is sending me messages that a Trojan has been discovered - will not stop so I uninstalled it. If I download a new browser will the same messages continue? Has this breached the whole of my Mozilla Firefox account?
I am not sure how the architecture works and to clear the other device.

Why can't Firefox permanently save settings queried in Privacy Policy nags? Add-ons and frequently-visited websites constantly nag the same tired questions day-in and day-out and I am SICK of it. Chrome doesn't do this. Why can't Mozilla find a solution? What's my motivation to keep donating to Mozilla or using Firefox if this continues to be ignored? This is a serious usability issue!

My last resort will be to stick to Firefox/ Mozilla gladly. Any advice to further my viver security? Thankfully…Sergio

For example, on the Google login web page there is a field to enter your email and phone (username). When I click it, I can see all my usernames, which are stored in the password database. Previously, I could only see the ones I had used previously on that page. Is there any way to adjust this old behavior? Thank you.
