I have had quite a bit of difficulty getting Firefox VPN working. I just now got it working because of an article I found on Gizmodo.

Setting browser.ipprotection.enabled to true fixed the problem of the VPN button not showing up immediately.

I am just wondering if there is a way this could have been done through normal Firefox settings, whether this could be added to the Firefox help documents on this subject (I could not find them, but it already may be there.), and whether this could have any other harmful security effects since I got this from a non-Mozilla source.

Thank You!

I needed access to an ftp server. I went to Cyberduck and thought I was downloading its software. Instead, I apparently clicked on an ad from that site instead. In the process, I had this bogus browser extension right next to my Facebook Container. ... I deleted it, but I'm still concerned about what I may have done/permissions I may have granted.

Please help!

I am having the problem a fix was created for previously where attempts to sign in to my google account continually redirect to a request to clear cache and cookies. Have done so multiple times, still can't log in. Can log in on Chrome so definitely a Firefox-specific issue.

We have resolved an issue with Google prompting users to ‘clear cookies and site data’ when logging in. A fix has been published, via Firefox remote settings that does not require a Firefox upgrade. Users will receive the update over the next 6hrs, if you would like to update immediately simply restart Firefox.

Note: The issue was related to CHIPS being enabled in Fx131, this feature has been temporarily disabled while we resolve the issues. Users who have disabled 'Allow Firefox to install and run studies' in Privacy & Security settings will need to enable to receive the update.

I just installed the latest version of Firefox. Now the reload button has gone from the toolbar.

When I click on customize toolbar it is not there either so I can't add it back.

Can someone please tell me how to get his back?

I've tried resetting and that didn't make a difference.

Around July 2nd I opened FireFox to find that the text on whatever screen I was on is spaced in an ineligible form. It seems to be the correct spelling, just jumbled together. I've tried adjusting the fonts, browser acceleration, to no avail. It's becoming difficult to read, and it has only been affecting the desktop browser. It works just fine on my Mac and phone, but not my windows computer. It is the only application that does this. I've updated my drivers and all.

I have a 100% repro rate of Firefox redirecting linkedin.com to linkedin.cn. Unfortunately there's another problem beyond the unwanted redirection: linkedin.cn no longer exits, it has been dead for years, I literally cannot reach LinkedIn at all. It was working fine a week or two ago. How do I prevent Firefox from redirecting behind my back? I see the status message (is that what it's called) in the lower left corner "Performing TLS handshake to www.linkedin.cn" and of course it only times out. I just verified with "Web" (different browser), it connects just fine, which suggests that it's a Firefox issue, not a system wide one.
