When v143 was released something happened to the shortcuts row(s). Regardless of refreshing efforts, rolling back versions, and searching the forums, there's no way to consistently get the shortcuts back. Sometimes they appear with a new browser instance, sometimes they don't. They don't appear with new tabs, and they don't stay when they do appear with a new browser. Grrrr. Please restore the shortcuts!

Why do my new e-mails suddenly go immediately into my "Archive" folder and I have to transfer them to my InBox in the last few days? New e-mails have always gone into my InBox...until the last few days.

My father used my computer and synced all of his firefox “stuff”, i need to get rid of all of it.

I tried to log in, but came across a message that told me it would just merge with his stuff. I would like his bookmarks and passwords gone so that only mine occupy the browser.

Is there a reset?

Hi, I have been trying all day to get my Trend Micro program working on my Firefox browser, including Password manager. These programs work ok on MS Edge browser, but I can't get it to work on my Firefox browser

I’m encountering an issue after migrating my domain and professional email service.

My address was originally hosted by Cabanova and configured in Thunderbird. I recently transferred the domain and email hosting to OVH, which caused the old mail server configuration to stop working.

Here’s the current situation:

The account in Thunderbird is still using a POP server (ssl0.ovh.net – port 995), while OVH uses IMAP (port 993).

I cannot change the server type from POP to IMAP within the existing account settings.

When I try to add a new account, Thunderbird completely freezes after I click “Continue” and never gives me access to “Manual Configuration.”

I also cannot delete the existing account because it contains all my previous local emails that I need to keep.

At the moment, I’m able to send emails from this account via OVH, but I don’t receive any incoming messages.

What I’d like to do is simply update the server configuration to OVH’s IMAP settings, without losing my existing local messages or recreating the entire profile.

Could you please let me know if there’s a way to:

Force an existing POP account to switch to IMAP,

Or safely recreate the account as IMAP without losing local data and without Thunderbird freezing during setup?

Hi, I am having this problem where I am watching a video and there is a very annoying white line at the top of the screen, I have already tried the trick to turn off the titlebar but its still there. My version is updated all the way as well, what do I do now?

Does Firefox support webAuthn passkeys stored by the browser? I have an app that I am working on and I would like to be able to use this feature.

If Firefox cannot store passkeys can you explain why this has not been added?

I'm running Thunderbird 140.3.1esr (64-bit) on Windows 11. Possibly because I was changing some settings, possibly because of a Thunderbird update, there are a couple of wonky things going on in my Folder Pane and elsewhere. Among them is the fact that one of my "Archives" folders now has a "Sent" icon instead of an "Archives" icon (see attached). Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried the following: 1. Repairing the Thunderbird folder. 2. Restarting Thunderbird and my computer. 3. Installing the latest version of Thunderbird (without uninstalling though).

local folders after a certain amount of folders have disappeared. I have made a new folder today, it displayed, closed thunderbird, re-opened thinderbird, and folder disappeared, the .msl file and file are still in the profile/mail/localfolders directory, just not being display under local folders in program, deleted all .msl files, and restarted thunderbird, and it did not recreate the .msl file(s) as well

Hi, I keep getting the following message when I try to excute Thunderbird on my Windows 11 desktop:

"Thunderbird is already running, but is not responding. The old Thunderbird process must be closed to open a new window."

I have gone off to Taskbar and looked for Thuderbird in the list of programs. It does not appear!

I have restarted my desk top, executed Thunderbird abd I get teh same message.

I have deleted Thunderbird from the desktop, shut down the PC. Restarted the PC and downloaded Thunderbird. I still get the same message when I execute it.

What else can I do about this?

I thought for sure that Xfinity was moving messages to junk despite everything. It turns out Thunderbird is doing it. I turned off every setting I could find to keep TB from trying to filter junk. I reset training data. Still perfectly normal messages are sent to junk, and *even marking it as NOT junk, and even the address in the address book* TB moves the message to junk.

Hi Folks, Recently I have been having an issue with accessing a particular website which is asus.com and the nature of the issue is as follows. Every time I attempt to login I receive the following error message.

The browser could not find the host server for the provided address.

   "Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of www.example.com.
   If you are unable to load any pages, check your device’s data or Wi-Fi connection."

It should be noted that this is the only website that I am having this issue any and all assistance in resolving this extremely annoying issue will be greatly appreciated
