I reset Firefox. Where can I find by Bamboo Feed Reader (add on) RSS Subscriptions in the "Old Firefox Data" folder that was created?

I reset firefox to get rid of some annoying "ads not by this site" thing (no idea how it got on there) and it worked, but then I realized my Bamboo Feed Reader was uninstalled and completely reset. Is there a way to retrieve my RSS feeds from the "Old Firefox Data" folder that was created?

You can check the prefs.js file in the "Old Firefox Data" folder to see if you can locate Bamboo prefs:

  • extensions.{b2e69492-2358-071a-7056-24ad0c3defb1}
  • extensions.{b2e69492-2358-071a-7056-24ad0c3defb1}.feed-backup

What do I do with it? I found prefs.js, but can't open it.

You can open the prefs.js file in a text editor via the right-click context menu (Open with), so do not double-click the file as that will make Windows try to run the file as a JScript file.
