I have correctly set the instruction to save pinned tabs and windows when Firefox opens.

However, I would like only the tabs to open, not all the windows.

PROBLEM -- when I open a new window from a bookmark, it overwrites the pinned tab.

The new web pages that are not open should open next to the pinned tab, not overwrite it.

Thanks for your help.

Pinned tabs are connected to a specific window and every window can have its own set of pinned tabs.
So when you open a window then that window doesn't inherit the tabs from the originating window.
So you can't achieve what you want.

Then how do you open a new window and save the window that has the tabs so you can go back to it?
