how do i change the background on the top? it now has a bunch of planets and I can't read anything

more options

There's a background at the top that looks like a bunch of planets all orange and black and it makes it hard to see the toolbard selections etc. I would like it to be a solid color, like white or gray. I can't find a solution to this problem in any help pages. Thanks for any help.
