the firefox 7 upgrade keeps downloading as a corupt file

October 1st, 2011 I have been downloading the 7.exe update at least 3 times a day, since it's release. Every downloaded file has been corrupted.

The same was happening with the Thunderbird7 update, but that finally worked this morning.

OS is Windows7

It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
