Do I need to have downloaded 3.6.7 before installing 3.6.8

After 3. it's all been down hill. Have not 3.6.8 and did not download 3.6.7 . Do I need to install 3.6.5 and 3.6.7 before 3.6.8. Do I need to uninstall previous versions? I am a novice so please be clear.

No, each version is complete and not dependent on previous versions.
