Firfox offers unwanted alternatives when I begin to input a user name.

When I input a user name for yahoo or gmail, Firefox offers alternatives that I have previously input. So I get a list of typos and sometimes my password concatenated to the user name.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

Chosen solution

Use the arrow keys to select the item you want to delete, the press Shift-Delete to remove a single item from the list.
