Why can't I just get Firefox while doing all this extra stuff

Why do I have to do a bunch of different stuff just to get Firefox even though it's the 2026 year just let me get it that's all it takes it should not be all you got to do this do a bunch of questions that doesn't have nothing to do with Firefox

Hi angeljk2370,

If you're using Android, you shouldn't need to go through a long setup process just to install Firefox.

Open the Google Play Store, search for “Firefox Browser: fast & private”, select the Mozilla Firefox app, and tap Install. Once it finishes, tap Open. That's all that is required to install Firefox.

If you're being asked questions or taken through something unusual before you can install it, could you tell us what screen or message you're seeing? A screenshot would also help us see exactly what is happening.
