Im using this browser for video visit with my brother incarcerated, is it safe and are there pop ups or blocks I need or dont need to know about?

Settings > Permission and data > Block popups You can also delete Site data etc. after each 'virtual' visit, but then there is the issue of what app you use to video. So are you using Firefox and some web app to video? Like Team ???
