google blocking Firefox download. What do I do? When I open the downloaded browser app icon from Google store the browser changes to Google and Firefox is not in the drop down list either.

This seems posted from Firefox for Android, so the download most likely succeeded (unless the question is for a different device than this one).

Is it possible you just want to change the default search engine to some other provider? See:

for the options available. You can always add more custom ones if the available ones are not sufficient.

Or is the question about setting the browser as default?
