If you are currently in a private browsing window and want to go back to regular browsing, simply close the private window. You can then open a new, regular Firefox window.

If you have Firefox set to always open in private browsing mode, you'll need to change a setting. Here's how to do that:

Click the menu button (the three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner of Firefox.

Click on Settings.

On the left-hand side, click on Privacy & Security.

Scroll down to the History section.

From the "Firefox will" drop-down menu, select "Remember history."

Alternatively, you can select "Use custom settings for history" and make sure the box next to "Always use private browsing mode" is unchecked.

Restart Firefox for the changes to take effect.
