My Mozilla Thunderbird Crashes since I did a windows update
The following was done 1. Start thunderbird in safe mode 2. Disable anti virus software (Malwarebytes/Bitdefender) 3. Update thunerbird 4. Uninstall and reinstall mozilla thunderbird
Nothing has solved the problem

Hi, yes I am working on an english version of thunderbird
The crash happens at start up (when you click thunderbird to run it)
I managed to resolve the issue by checking the profile folder - apparently I have 2 profile folders in C and in D. I believe after the update maybe it was pointing to the profile in C: (my mails are all saved in D:, it was an old profile)
So far everything is working.. for now

But looking through what you posted, clearly bit defender is injecting their mail scanner / Toolbar into Thunderbird. So try disabling that in bitdefender and see if you do better as it was installed in that crash..

I already tried to disable both bitdefender and malwarebytes but it still crashes
I started my computer in safe mode as well and still thunderbird crashes

Some questions:
- Does it crash frequently?
- Is there a set of steps whereby you can somewhat reliably cause it to crash?
- Is it frequently at startup, or always at startup?
Please post 8-10 of your crash report IDs here, as text like you did before, not a screen shot.
