Out going emails just do not work any more

Thunderbird just suddenly stopped sending emails, they come in just fine, but when i try to reply they will not send, i have read all the support advice and all settings are correct, i have a live.co.uk account a outlook.com account and a virgin media account, not of the above will send emails, like i have said all the settings are correct, i have tried other settngs but with no joy. the program looks like it has been updated as the mail boxes in the menu now have a blue box. i have uninstalled it, and reinstalled it , but it is still the same.

Same problem for me. It seems to be linked to Office 365 mail account as all my other mail (GMAIL, ZIMBRA, ...) are working fine.

Yesterday all was working fine, today i'm unable to send / receive mails from / to Office 365 account.

Thunderbird return a connection error message in both cases.

That would be right if it was just live and out look ,but my virgin media account is the same, that has nothing to do with office 365.

It has to be lined to Thunderbird itself.
