Every time I upgrade to 60.3.3 the system eventually forces me to revert to 60.3.1 and tuns off my firewall. This has happened several times. I have no choice. It demands I restart and when that happens I wind up back on 60.3.1.

I've never heard such a thing.

Plus, these don't sound like the exact wording of whatever you are seeing. Please post exact wording or screen shot.

Well, that's helpful. I'm sorry I did not meet your expectations for dialog. Let me try again.

1. Thunderbird prompts me to upgrade to 60.3.3. I do so. It appears to upgrade just fine and 60.3.3 appears in the "about" window. It works just like every other upgrade I've done.

2. Sometime later -- not right away -- the Thunderbird icon changes to what looks like a "open this package" icon. I click on it in an attempt to start Thunderbird and it says, "Thunderbird needs to restart." in a dialog box on the screen. THERE IS NO CHOICE. I can't decline. I can't X out of it.

3. I let it restart as prompted and the system reverts to 60.3.1.

4. Sometime later -- not right away -- Thunderbird prompts me to upgrade to 60.3.3.

5. Then we go through this little drama over and over and over again.
