Hello,

I'm using thunderbird on two gmail account since a while. Both are setup the same way in terms of shown/hidden folder and "show in imap" in the gmail web site. I have no idea why but, on one of these account, the rash folder is not anymore detected as such. I get a trash folder in the thunderbird tree folder but without the trash icon (it appears as a normal folder). It is not only a cosmetic issue because, when I delete a email, it is not moved to the trash folder as it used to be (I alwasys use the move to trash option). Actually, I don't even know what thunderbird is trying to do with these deleted email. It used to work like a charm. Now I find deleted emails in all mails and nowhere else. I deleted my .thunderbird and restarted from scratch with no improvement. No idea where the difference between the two accounts comes from.

If you want I can dump the list of imap folders using a python script...or anything which could help to figure out what is wrong.
