When I click on the Firefox icon it starts, opens a new tab, and then stops. Typing a valid website address in the address field and pressing enter does nothing. My internet setting are valid because Internet Explorer works. (In fact, I'm using Internet Explorer to write this.) What should I do to get Firefox working again. (I have already done the Refresh.)

You could uninstall and then get a Full Version 57.0.1 Installer here : https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ If your a older PC with little ram and old drivers you may want to change to the Extended Support Release https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/

I would suggest trying to update all drivers for motherboard and sound, network and video.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
