Mozilla "Locks-up" for about 5 minutes when initially started CAUSE: McAfee addon extension
When I start Mozilla, the page comes up and locks-up for about 5 minutes. After this time, sometimes shorter, sometimes longer the lock-up clears and the program is useable. Happens every time I close and reopen the program. Not sure if I have some corrupted files and need to reload Mozilla?

What is your anti-virus software?
I have had the McAfee Security Suite that comes with the Cox system for years. However, this problem is recent, last 3-4 months. Thanks!
I did as you suggested. I disabled McAfee from the tool menu. IT WORKS!!! Thank you! Appreciate your help. -F

what version of McAfee? And what version of addon is shown in extensions?
