I am considering buying an Android phone and wipe Android with FirefoxOS using https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/os/devices/ Will installing FirefoxOS change the frequency setting? I.e., suppose I get a Nexus 5 (or another phone) that works on Verizon (or another network). I install firefox OS - wiping out Android. Will the phone still just work on Verizon? Or do I need to fiddle more? I am not a geek (advanced user) - just like things to work with little hassle. Thank in advanced for your help. Sheng-Chieh p.s. I am considering this because I don't like the privacy on Google nor want to use Google software. p.s.s. It would be great if a tentative expiration date is listed on https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/os/devices/ for each phone. p.s.s. If you have any phone(s) recommendation on that list, please post. The phone needs to be cheap - used phones are in consideration.
