Something happened to my PC and I lost all my emails from the inbox. I believe they are still in a cache folder under profiles. If yes, how can I recover them?

Start thunderbird in safe mode - http://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/kb/safe-mode

*Remove* the calendar/lightning addon

Does problem go away?
